Here’s the most frequent question in regard to EFT for weight loss:
How long does it take?
If you are asking how long it will take to lose weight using EFT for weight loss, then it tells me a couple of things -
1.) you don’t want to waste time or money on some “new age” technique that might not work when you’ve already wasted money on lots of other stuff that didn’t work, and
2.) you are looking for something FAST that can and will help you right away.
I don’t blame you – we ALL want to be 2 sizes smaller YESTERDAY . . .
It’s just plain human nature. Most people who are looking for help with EFT for weight loss have tried many techniques and many diets.
This may may be the first time you have discovered EFT for weight loss, but it’s not the first time you have tried to lose weight. In fact, most people are savvy weight loss consumers.
And we WANT a quick fix! No one wants to hear that it will take a long time. That’s why all the ads say “fast and easy” weight loss.
We all want that quick fix!
NO one EVER asks — how long will it last?
Because we all just assume (and truly believe) that once we lose weight (with EFT or other means), we can and will keep it off.
In reality, the probability of keeping weight off for a year or more is next to nothing, especially if you are using dieting to lose weight. In fact, research shows that 95-98% of the time, we regain all the weight lost (and more) by dieting within 2 years.
Why? Virtually ALL diets fail because of stress and emotional eating.
So the real value of EFT for weight loss lies not in the speed of getting the weight off, (you can get the weight off as quickly as in any other method), but in how it helps you keep you from regaining it.
EFT stops food cravings, and helps you to eliminate the emotions that drive them. Those 2 things alone will help speed up the process.
That’s when even greater value kicks in. Once you have lost the weight you want, EFT can help you avoid sabotaging your success.
I don’t think anyone wants to have to keep losing weight over and over again. I know I don’t!
Getting it off quickly and easily is sweet – having it be a permanent nonissue . . . even sweeter . . .
